Hi, I’m Tuakana Metuarau, an animator and filmmaker from Wellington, New Zealand. I gained my Bachelors Degree in Media Design from Victoria University in 2015 and completed my Masters in Design Innovation in 2017, receiving the degree with merit. Though my Thesis was focused on video games and the development of my own video games, I find my real passion is in animation, both 3D and traditional, and film making. I am currently a lecturer in Digital Game Design at Victoria University, Wellington.

I am capable in Maya, After FX, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Unreal Engine 4 and Unity. I also have knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Jquery.
